As a tent at the most beautiful, largest and most popular folk festival in the world, it is our aim to take responsibility for our environment and future generations.
Sustainable and environmentally conscious action is an important part of our society, and we base our actions on this.
What we are doing specifically:
Converting all lighting to energy-saving LED technology
Significant expansion of our solar system
Purchase of 100% green electricity from organic production by Stadtwerke München (SWM)
Use of durable and recyclable materials
Certified organic — with several dishes of certified organic quality
Purchase regional and seasonal food whenever possible
Since 2019, 729.3 tons of CO2 have been reduced, removed or avoided
Poschner supports climate-friendly measures and the following
Climate protection projects: Renewable energy across Asia,
Climate protection project + tree planting one ton of CO2 + one tree international + Germany, Waldschutz Cujubim, Brazil and Waldschutz Portl, Brazil.
